OUR STORY

The unfortunate reality is that not all dance studios in Medellin value their instructors with fair treatment and working conditions.

We (Laura & Genesis) as two local women and instructors created EPA Dance Studio from the desire to create a space that truly valued the people who make this magic possible: our instructors. Local professionals full of talent, dedication, and love for dance.

We understand the value and respect that teachers deserve, as well as the importance of caring for every student along their dance journey.

In Medellín, rhythm is everywhere, and we wanted to transform that energy into a space where anyone local or visitor could learn, enjoy, and genuinely connect with the essence of our city.

From the very beginning, we believed in something simple: dancing is good for you. It’s good for the heart, the body, the mind, and the community. That’s why we created a studio with personalized classes, small groups, and a warm atmosphere, so every step can be experienced with joy and without pressure.

EPA was created to celebrate dance, to honor those who teach it, and to accompany those who want to live it.
